To be fair, the kettle was kinda cheated and is just a slight offset with the double kick, recorded on its own channel and some reverb and a slight echo added.
I actually own a pair of kettle drums. They're above my garage. I got 'em from a high school marching band that was selling old equipment.
Oh, Biff says she increased the treble on the bass and reduced the mids to get it in range.
Her engineering skills are every bit as excellent as her musicianship. Especially when you take in the fact she's only been at them for about 1.5 years. She is such a treasure.
I already interrupted her concentration. She says, "I put my hours in, COFFEEBUTT."
I was letting her concentrate on what she was doing, but I blame rum. Besides, she's now kinda paying attention again. (She gets bored when there aren't many replies quickly. Youth will do that.)
