I suspect he's had time to refine his arguments and is able to hide the logical fallacies better than he used to. He's been at this for decades.
I donate yearly, and for specific campaigns, to the EFF.
I donate zero dollars to the FSF. None. They get no dollars.
Even after I die, I will continue donating to EFF - it's automated and comes out of a trust's funds. It happens every year. It will happen in perpetuity. It will happen until the trust runs out of money - which will only happen if the world's economy entirely collapses.
FSF gets not one penny. None.
You know eventually I'm going to have to get over myself and accept that I'll need to ask for donations to keep the site running. I've done it once or twice and it just didn't feel right. Supporting a cause seems like most of the time it runs on donations, foundations and all that they all support a cause.
Really just me thinking out loud here. I guess part of my uncomfort with the idea is I don't donate to really much of anything like that. I'd much prefer my charity to go to individuals rather than groups. Eh, thankfully none of that needs to be dealt with today. So in the words of One Punch Man, I'll leave tomorrows problems to tomorrows me.
