I should play you a scale, I’ll remind myself to do it later tonight.
Sweet!
Tomorrow night is the weekly guitar thread - and I'll happily listen here, if you decide to not post it there!
I'd suggest that easy pentatonic that I've ranted about - preferably in A! You can play whatever you want, however.
Perhaps I will post it there, I keep meaning to stop by but life has gotten a little bit tough the last few weeks so I've missed it.
You showed up once.
Unfortunately, I seem to recall it was in one that I didn't open - as I had a show that night. LOL I think I was on stage when you posted.
It's also probably a good time to mention that you're not obligated to bring a track or share a track to participate. 'Snot even remotely required. There's a wealth of informed people people in that thread and they all love answering questions - not just me!
Sometimes, people get confused and think it's some sort of competition. It's not. It's not even remotely a competition. It's just about playing music, talking about music, sharing music, commenting about music, and sharing a little slice of ourselves with each other. It motivates, inspires, and entertains. That's pretty much all it does - and that's fantastic. Well, I think it's fantastic but I'm hardly objective about such things!
I will be there tomorrow night - unless something weird happens.
I have a show on Saturday and we were going to go down early and hit up a hotel that night. It's really not that much of a drive and it's not like I have to do much of the setup work, I just need to be there for soundcheck. I've got it pretty damned cushy and I'm pretty grateful for that.
We shall see!
We are trying some new things. This will be our first week trying something new.
Our roadies are going to meander around with cameras and we're going to push those images through the projector and onto the screen behind us.
I suspect this is going to go horribly wrong, probably in ways I can't yet imagine. I hate when there's cameras around on the stage. I really, really hate it when they're laying down in front of my monitors and pointing the camera up my nose.
I should also mention that our two roadies aren't actually cameramen. Combined, they have zero camera experience. They've had the two cameras to practice with but I haven't seen a bit of their footage.
This should be interesting!
