Well that is kind of what mono does it makes you tired, its really well known for doing that. Hope the show goes well. I'm sitting here strumming away watching the confirmation hearing thing. Its a good chance to get in some much needed practice during the silences. I'm practicing chords and even flirting with power chords this whole thing is slow going but I'll get there. Still have that first pick btw, the pick gods be damned they shall not take this one from me.

Take it easy if you work too hard its only going to make it worse.

Yeah, it makes you tired, your throat hurt, gives you a rash, and causes your spleen to swell...

I'm just tired and my throat hurts. I'm guessing my spleen is swollen, but I don't actually see any swelling anywhere - it's just that my whole body hurts.

I also have no rash. None... I've looked in the mirror, more than once. No rash. Not even the hint of a rash. The only thing that makes me itch is the opiates.

Because of my history, I asked for low-grade opiates and agreed on Vicodin 10mg. I get 5/day and I'm supposed to take one every six hours - but I get an extra one each day for "breakthrough pain."

I can't spend today in bed. I have obligations. The show must go on. I don't get to take today off. I'm a professional. I don't miss shows. Nobody really dies from mono, unless their spleen explodes and they don't get it taken care of in a timely fashion. Spleens don't actually usually even rupture. So, it's a pretty low probability event.

Yeah I know a little bit about spleen issues, I've seen it happen to people seems to just make you feel shitty all over. Bummer man, hope you get over it soon. Good on you for being a professional.

Thanks! I'll be fine, I assume. They used a small font for the bit about exploding spleens, so I assume that's not important!

LOL Did you see yesterday's article? You might get a kick out of it.

I am still trying, so far successfully, to publish something every day. I just don't always want to commit to answering questions that may follow in a timely manner. So, I haven't been submitting them. I figure if I'm going to be submitting my own content, I should at least make an effort to be more than just promoting my stuff. So, I don't submit stuff unless I have time to also respond. If someone else submits it, I'm not obligated to respond.
