Well, this is going to be our new home and we'll ride it 'til the wheels fall off, just like we did with Voat.

There will be continuity. The thread will continue. I've checked and the owner assures me that the site's resources will handle us.

It's not all bad... Voat had started to go downhill quite a while ago. We had to have the regular site open, the preview site open, and then had to generate alts just so we could consistently use Voat without the dreaded 500 error.

But, I'd like to avoid lamenting the past and I'd like to encourage looking forward. This sub was prepared long ago and has existed since the very earliest days of Poal. We can, and will, use it to host our guitar thread.

As always, there's , but music is best when shared and Poal has an audience.

If you're new to Poal, try to take care to read and understand the site before barging in and making bold proclamations and demands. Don't bring past grievances forward. Let us be good stewards of the thread and guests of the site.

We will have the final Voat FNGT on Thursday. On Friday, we're gonna have a FNGT right here on Poal. That's right! We're gonna have two guitar threads. Pretty sweet, huh? Besides, our Christmas thread is a good time for them to see us in action. It's when we're on our worst behavior but bring our best music!

You read my mind. Happy to see the guitar thread will be happening over here now. I actually kind of like the fact that I can log onto this site. Voat has been almost impossible for me, using Brave on my phone. (legalPERSON here btw)

It'll be nice to be able to use the account for more than 10% of the day, though up to 95% of the day if I created/used an alt.

We've had the backup plans in place for a long time. The FNGT will continue.

Yeah man I’m happy about that. I actually tried to log into Voat earlier today to ask you if you were planning on setting this up over here, but alas I couldn’t get on...again. Hopefully I can get on there tomorrow to send it off. I’ll miss that place.

Absolutely. I can never seem to log on at Voat over the last year, except midnight to 5am or so. Most other times it never loads. Glad you’re here COF

I'm kinda excited at the prospect of new people and renewed interest in the thread. So many quality people, like you, left Voat over the last year or so and it really limited submissions. We'll see what happens, but I can hope a little.
