Well, this is going to be our new home and we'll ride it 'til the wheels fall off, just like we did with Voat.

There will be continuity. The thread will continue. I've checked and the owner assures me that the site's resources will handle us.

It's not all bad... Voat had started to go downhill quite a while ago. We had to have the regular site open, the preview site open, and then had to generate alts just so we could consistently use Voat without the dreaded 500 error.

But, I'd like to avoid lamenting the past and I'd like to encourage looking forward. This sub was prepared long ago and has existed since the very earliest days of Poal. We can, and will, use it to host our guitar thread.

As always, there's , but music is best when shared and Poal has an audience.

If you're new to Poal, try to take care to read and understand the site before barging in and making bold proclamations and demands. Don't bring past grievances forward. Let us be good stewards of the thread and guests of the site.

We will have the final Voat FNGT on Thursday. On Friday, we're gonna have a FNGT right here on Poal. That's right! We're gonna have two guitar threads. Pretty sweet, huh? Besides, our Christmas thread is a good time for them to see us in action. It's when we're on our worst behavior but bring our best music!

Good to see you musical guys arrived. As for the drama I guess some of it is zealotry, its religion man, Q anon is a cult where they pray not to a deity of an old statue or a 'God' but an online robot software scam to keep voters and keep patriots stupid. Ive tried to argue with people on religion before and cults and it doesnt always work because they 'believe' and I guess they needed something, it can also give people comfort. I dont pretend to know everything. Maybe some of the Bible is a tale maybe some is fact, its possible some events happened. Perhaps our world has seen odd stuff, maybe long ago in the time of Jesus and Pyramids and Pagans someone seen a magic ufo ball of fire flying through the sky. Maybe unique and special things happened on our planet once upon a time I mean if you look at the math there is a chance there is a lot more than just us in the universe. Anyways i'm ranting and going off topic, glad to see your Guitar Ship has arrived across the glitchy stormy sea of voat. You guys used to play some interesting stuff but I gave up on voat a while back. Would be nice to see who is playing what and what kinds of songs you guys wrote. Maybe you could write one on a car that never drove and a website voat that never really worked.
