I'm about 3 months away from having an official .com email address - if I want it.
I didn't like Reddit much. It was too easy. So, I resumed helping people with their Linux issues. I'm even officially testing the next version of Lubuntu, among other things.
Hell, I've got a whole new site.
LOL You can buy cheap hosting from me at https://uhost.cyou - but you gotta babysit yourself.
Hell, I've got a whole new site.
Dude, you are the man.
You are just giving the knowledge away for free.
Where's the fuckin donate button?
LOL I don't need donations. I've got money. I had thought about a donation button, but it seemed kinda cheesy.
I'll eventually toss some ads on there. Any extra revenue after expenses will get donated to EFF or some other worthy tech charitable organization.
By the time I'm "done", I'd expect about 1500 articles, based on the copious notes I've kept over the years. I used to use Unix, before Linux was a thing, and then switched to Linux exclusively when I retired. So, since about 2007 I've used just Linux - nothing else. Well, maybe some BSD here and there.
I did have a Windows phone for quite a while. It was actually pretty awesome. I also knew nobody would bother to write malware for it!
Forced to do bsd as well for a couple clients.
I heard so many great things about windows phone - and from coders and actual techies too, but I let my M$ disdain prevent me from owning one sadly.
By the way, if you sign up then you'll get notifications when new articles are posted.
