Well, this is going to be our new home and we'll ride it 'til the wheels fall off, just like we did with Voat.

There will be continuity. The thread will continue. I've checked and the owner assures me that the site's resources will handle us.

It's not all bad... Voat had started to go downhill quite a while ago. We had to have the regular site open, the preview site open, and then had to generate alts just so we could consistently use Voat without the dreaded 500 error.

But, I'd like to avoid lamenting the past and I'd like to encourage looking forward. This sub was prepared long ago and has existed since the very earliest days of Poal. We can, and will, use it to host our guitar thread.

As always, there's , but music is best when shared and Poal has an audience.

If you're new to Poal, try to take care to read and understand the site before barging in and making bold proclamations and demands. Don't bring past grievances forward. Let us be good stewards of the thread and guests of the site.

We will have the final Voat FNGT on Thursday. On Friday, we're gonna have a FNGT right here on Poal. That's right! We're gonna have two guitar threads. Pretty sweet, huh? Besides, our Christmas thread is a good time for them to see us in action. It's when we're on our worst behavior but bring our best music!

That'll work. It's a bit different here but I suspect folks will adjust over time.

I think we've managed to let everyone know except one person. They do have a forum account, but their email address is no longer valid. They used their ISP's email address and that's no longer valid.

I did some digging and the reason you have no new invites is because you have 3 already outstanding (meaning unused).

However, I upped the number you're allotted each month.

You can see how many invites you have outstanding in the invitation section of the site.
