Today is Friday and tonight is the Friday Night Guitar Thread!

The thread opens at 20:00 Eastern in s/Guitar.

It'll be opened by tonight.

We, the wife and I, are on vacation for a while. We'll still swing by for a little while.

If you don't already have a track ready, there's still time to prepare one! Remember, if it wasn't for low standards, we'd have no standards at all. So, feel free to join us in sharing some music that you were personally involved in. It's not just for guitar, any instrument is welcome.

Nice! I’m actually probably going sleep, waking up to post, and then going back to sleep. I drive over the road these days so my schedule is about totally flipped but that’s life.

A long, long time ago, I used to worry about what I'd do when I retired - 'cause I figured I'd be broke as fuck.

My plan was to do the owner-operator thing, doing OTR (but depot to depot, to avoid city driving) transport.

Alas, that plan never reached fruition.

Ha, well there’s worse back up plans than that! I’ve just been doing for about four months now after post-corona career shifting last summer. Not a bad gig for a young guy like me and I’m making more money these days than before too.
