Well then, by all means, you really should have one
I know!
None have popped up at an auction at prices I'm willing to pay. I may have to buy a new one, but I'd like one a couple of years old that has already depreciated. I love buying slightly used cars. It saves so much money and I can buy really great cars that way.
Many, many of my purchases have been well-below market value. Some as low as 50% below market value.
I fucking love that. I can sell 'em at huge profits if I want.
I agree with the buying of depreciated cars. I don't think I will ever own a brand new car. They come down in value so fast. I can get a fine vehicle that gets me to where I have to go and maintain it myself without having to throw money away on having a new car.
Did you make a nice profit selling the V10 Audi ?
I went and looked it up. It's an S8, not an S6.

Yup. It sold for more than average book value. I paid less than book value. I paid like 11k and sold it for 16k. That'll pay the mechanics for a couple of weeks.
Technically, they did all the work selling it. I barely know the guy that bought it. He's young, maybe 25 years old. So, to him it's a really special car. That's great! It really is. Everyone should drive a car they think is special.
When he wrecks it, he'll probably survive. It's a pretty safe car. It's got 450 hp, so he's eventually gonna wreck it. Either that or he'll baby it and treat it really well.
