As I said, anything that gets people making and sharing music is fantastic. I hope they encourage that and can promote that, but Putt (if that's really him) is being lazy and using the years of effort to endorse "his" new project and that isn't right. Come up with a new name and see if it prospers on its own.

I'm more than a little confused in just him, but to each her own.

I suspect it's not really Putt, but I haven't dug into it - it's just a hunch.

I really don't mind 'em using the name (or the goodwill). I guess there are 140 people over there currently and there may be some sort of migration due to AOU? I don't really know, I'm just regurgitating what I was told a moment ago.

I really don't mind. You can mind, if you want. It won't do you any good, but you can rage against the winds if you want.

Also, if it turns out there's a giant migration, I'm told I can have the guitar sub and move the thread there. So, we've got all angles covered!

I did let them know that I've no intentions to move at this time. Moving the thread a third time would just be a pain in the ass.
