It really sucks to do diligent practice daily - but the rewards are awesome.
I find it leads to less frustration in the end, and less frustration means a better experience while playing and practicing. That leads to more practice and to reaching your guitar goals.
LOL But, I may not be unbiased. In fact, I'm probably biased as all fuck. I've been at it for more than 50 years and still do a couple of hours of practice on most days. I also have the time to do so. But, even though I have the time, I still have to force myself to practice daily.
Anyhow, it mostly makes me a little sad when guitarists say they haven't played much. Most guitar owners seem to just have a guitar as a room decoration and gave up playing long ago.
