Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or TheBuddha.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

LoL well I am hoping he does something when he gets his money

I don't think I'd be 'hoping'. I'm pretty sure I'd be 'insisting'.

If he's going to continue to stay there (keep your options open), then there's a list of rules he has to obey - which includes wearing clothing, not sleeping on the toilet, sleeping in a bedroom only, keeping the house clean (to your standards, not his standards), and things of that nature.

He would sign such an agreement.

Otherwise, he hits the pavement.

I really, really have little patience for that sort of thing. I think it stems from having had roommates before. I've often lived with other people, people who aren't family. I did so during school, then during the military, then during school, then during the military, and then I had a wife and the first kid so we generally didn't have roommates after that. But, I'd sometimes split a hotel room with fellow employees at work. So, I still sometimes lived with other people.

I suspect that's why I have zero patience with this matter.

I have never really lived with a room mate ever. Only people I have lived with are women that I live with, and my children. And living with a woman isn't the same as having a room mate at all to me. I want her there, and i get to do things to her that I rather enjoy. And my kids are my kids. They don't annoy me at all like having him does. They have their own space and they aren't taking over my space constantly.

Roommates are very different than girlfriends/wives. Especially if you own the place, or are the only person on the lease.

A roommate you can tell what to do and kick 'em out if they don't.

A significant-other is more diplomatic - though I suppose you can still kick them out if you're the only one on the lease and unmarried or whatnot.

Either way, they're entirely separate things. I've had both. It's possible to have solid roommates. I've had that often. It just takes a firm set of rules and someone willing to obey those rules.

In one way, it'd probably be pretty cool to have Verle there to help pay the bills and to keep an eye on the place when you're not home. On the other hand, he's got to uphold a certain standard of living in order for it to be copacetic.

Yes, yes I did just use the word copacetic. Yes, yes I did.
