Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I didn't even think about that. I am not institutionalized, I have not really spent too much time incarcerated. So I didn't know people would do shit like keeping good books out of the bin. Fucking criminals.

They presumably see them as having some value, or that they have some control over something.

In a world where you don't have control of many things, you'll seek control when you can. In jail, you don't have control of much - not even when you get out of bed, shower, what you eat, etc...

Yeah. I can understand that. Some people would try to trade me for some canteen item or some dessert for a good book. Hell with that. I would just move on to someone else

In a world where you control little, you're gonna look to control something.

In a world where you have little (and many inmates don't have folks on the outside helping them out) you'll look for advantage to get extra where you can.

It doesn't necessarily justify the behaviors of some inmates, but it does explain it.
