Hello and welcome to another FNGT! Like normal, we'll go ahead and get you started.
It has been a short week, or so it seems. We're still taking it easy, but we did have time to bust out something new this week. It's not very complex and didn't require all that much effort, but it's a pretty good song and you can sing along with it. It kinda is in keeping with the Valentine's theme.
The ladies did the heavy lifting while I pounded the skins. It's not an overly complex tune to play, though there's a lovely bit of bass work for you to enjoy and that was done by our beloved J while Biff strummed along. The most difficult part of Biff's piece was attaching a capo. 'Snot really a song that challenged any of us, but it was fun and it is fun - and that's just as important.
Anyhow, well… Rock on, bears. Rock on!
J's bassline walked all the way to Kansas City. The Beatles early stuff was so fun and bright, always a joy to hear. Good job all.
Glad ya liked it.
Did you sing along?!?
I did but even I wasn't impressed. At least the dog didn't howl.
Classic tune. Simple but effective. Nice job
It's also a fun one to play, and doesn't take a whole lot of effort.
Glad ya liked it.
One of my asshole sibs had this on a 45 (along with "Help" and "I Feel Fine") when I was still crawlin'. It's his fault I've spent so much money on guitars and guitar accessories over the years.
It's not very challenging - but it's fun to play.
This is quite different that what we normally hear from you all! Cool!
Yeah, it's a rather simple song and unlike what we normally do.
We're still taking it easy. Most of last year had a new track every week and they were generally challenging tracks. It's time for a break, before we end up losing interest.
There's nothing that says a song has to be difficult to play for it to sound great!
