Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Yeah drums pretty much sit in the center of the mix anyways. So a stereo track isn't really needed

We save a ton of time that way. It's easy to EQ and adjust volume levels. It takes a few minutes if you know what you're aiming for.

Yeah. You do know what you're aiming for!

Yup... We don't even keep the individual tracks (the stubs, in some lingo). We don't have room or organization for all of that, so they're usually deleted pretty much immediately. If we count all the stubs as individual tracks, Biff says we've been in the 50's or maybe low 60s. Stuff like the special songs we do, like for holidays or to celebrate, are often pretty complicated. I might lay down multiple drum tracks even and they'll get blended together. I might have six guitar parts and they're scattered all over the place so I may actually end up recording 8 or 9 individual tracks instead of just sitting there trying to time it perfectly with headphones on. It really depends on how complex the piece is.
