17k is mere peanuts compared to what you deserve. 17k isn't even a fraction of the medical bills and drugs since they made that offer.

They expected me to settle for that. Else they'd have not offered it.

I've got until the 7 year mark to start the process in the courts. I can then easily drag it out another five years.

In the end, I'll put on a suit and let a jury decide how much to award me - or they'll accept my terms.

I have the upper hand for a change. Usually the insurance company has the upper hand. Not this time.

I would think they would settle before going to court. You could convince the jury that you're affected for life and they may give much more than the insurance company wants to Easily. You can no longer jump!

Yeah, they'll settle for my terms eventually. I'll take 1m in cash and they can cover my medical expenses for life.
