I have some gay friends and used to employ a few gay people. They did their job.

One of them was quite a character. He was a DBA and one of the people who hated Oracle more than I did. He was a cross-dresser and a bit insane - but his work was the best on the planet. He had moods. You could always tell when he was in one of his moods because the databases would mysteriously slow to a crawl and nobody knew how to fix it.

He did that until I finally gave him a 'private' office that was actually in the networking 'closet'. It's where he wanted to be. It's where he ended up. He was just so good that I couldn't replace him without hiring like three other people.

Hell, I've even got a couple of gay/bi friends of either sex. They don't bother me. I'm not worried about catching the gay.
