Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Hello everybody! Hope you're all doing great! Earlier this week my friend Chris came over again with another case of Budweiser and his acoustic guitar and he said he learned a new song, so he showed me this riff and I learned it well enough to play it along with him. Then we looked up the lyrics on the laptop and had a go of it and this was the sonic results. I like it a lot, especially for the first time we ever even played the song together, we didnt even listen to it to know where the changes were or how it was supposed to go. I think we nailed it! Here is our version of Steve Earle's

Thanks! That's my buddy Chris. It's so much fun to jam out with people who sing! I'll let him know you liked it!

Very nice. You picked that up quickly and did a great job. Chris' vocals were damn good on this one.

I'm pretty sure it's "Copperhead Road".

Road, Street, Lane, Trail, Boulevard, whatever

LOL It's too bad one of the old goats isn't here (he went by many usernames). That's his favorite song, though he'd likely chastise you even more for getting the title wrong.

The intro sounds like bag pipes, but I'm not sure if it's actually played with pipes. Our resident pipe player and myself discussed her recording the intro for me so that I could cover the song.
