Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

They had a VERY mild winter in which to adjust. So, they still like working for me very much. In hindsight, I probably could have offered them less money. That's okay and yes, they'll be doing the work. They love the exposure to new and awesome things that they get to deal with while working for me. They get to work on some of the greatest cars on the planet.

And, in the case of the DeLorean, it'd not be so much restomodding it, it'd be turning it into the car it should have been from the start. For the price I quoted, I can easily get 600 hp out of a crate engine. I might have to have the interior redone. Man, it's mostly plastic and cheap. I've been in one. At the end of the day, all I really care about is that the body remains stock.

Sounds like a plan. You needed another project.

I'll see if I can have it ready for 2022. I'll be able to zoom along through the mountain roads and feel like the DeLorean is a good car.

I might have to look into some suspension changes. I have zero clue how well they actually handle.

Maine is getting rocked today. Winds up to 50 mph throughout the state, so plan on an additional 20+ mph for my house.

Virginia is having sympathy pains, 'cause I had no 'net for like 3 hours this morning.

J reports that all is well, though the mains power is off. It has been off since sometime before she got out of bed. I guess some 30k people are without power.

Amusingly, the skies are blue.

The barns are on their own circuit. They do not have electricity. There are still plenty of things the mechanics can do to keep busy. They can also go to my garage and there's power there. They also have a ton of cordless tools. Yup, in modernity you can actually use a cordless impact gun and it works pretty well.

I should do something about this. I should ensure that the barns always have power.
