Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

It's a wonderful piece, as are many of Diabelli's works. I'm glad ya liked it - and was pretty sure you would like it.

It's an advanced piece on the piano, and a monstrously difficult piece on the guitar. It required some practice runs (and a bit of remembering) before I could play it at the quality needed for public consumption. There are a ton of 'runs' and they're all different. If you mess one up, you might just as well start over.

Even with the time spent practicing, it was still quicker than doing a full piece with all the different instruments.

Music like this, with your skills, deserves to stand alone with out any other instruments. It allows the listener to focus on both qualities. Of course loud, raucous Rock has it's place and is fun and thrilling but this kind of music/playing is a whole higher level of enjoyment.

Oh shit, did I just practically say "turn that shit down in there, kids". Lol, where did the years go?

You're getting old, COF. You're getting old...

And, yeah, it'd be pretty silly to add more instruments to the piece. I do know a few pieces where to properly play them you need two classical guitarists. Biff is nowhere near that level and isn't all that interested in classical guitar. She does admire and recognize the skill, it's just not something she wants to play.

I may have to do a piece that requires two guitars. I can play both parts and it's still faster than doing the entire collection of instruments for a 'normal' song.

You done with your activities for the day?
