We brought the GT3 over to the diner this morning. I then went with a few of them to an autocross event. I didn't want to mess with their points and standings, so I made a few runs off the books. I then made my exit shortly after. I pretty much dominated, which makes my ego happy. The first run was just learning the course, as I only walked the course once. The second run set my time. When I left, I was a good 13 seconds faster than anyone else. On a track that only takes about a minute, that's a pretty secure lead. I didn't stick around after. I don't want to mess with their 'season' times/points, so it was unofficial. I love the way that car handles.
Fuck yeah!
Can't beat that!
My car was/is significantly better than any of the competition - plus I know how to drive on a track and have taken a whole lot of lessons that taught me how to be quick around a course. The competition was things like a Miata and an older Dodge Neon - but at least the Neon was the S type. In their day, the Neon was a fun, cheap car.
Yeah I know you can probably drive way better than most of them. You taught driving at a track!
Neon is not really something I ever aspired to drive
