Well hopefully your wrist gets to feeling better sooner rather than later
It kinda sucks, but I'll survive. It gets bad enough that opening a door, the handle turning, means sharp pain.
Someone turned an XK120 into an EV.
That does suck. I know when I have an injury like that it sure shows me how much I take for granted all the little things.
I don't know what to think about making an XK120 an electric vehicle. I guess it will still look as cook as ever, at least until you open the hood
I can appreciate (find sexy) good electrical work. So, looking at the guts of an EV is interesting to me, perhaps (due to the novelty) as much as looking at a sexy engine compartment with an internal combustion engine.
One of my next few purchases will be an electric vehicle. I just haven't decided which. I'd kinda like an original Tesla, from back before even Musk was involved.
Gen 0 Tesla cars were built into the Lotus Elise cars. Few people know that Tesla existed before the Tesla they know existed. They were pretty awesome, but had shitty range compared to today. I could easily get that fixed, though it'd be expensive.
And, yeah... The pain is significant. Sharp, sharp pains. I'm a guy who dealt with a smashed femur and this wrist shit fucking hurts like a motherfucker. Like a month after smashing my femur, I was on stage (in a wheelchair) playing. The pain from this pointless injury is enough to even make me stop practicing.
It's a bitch to type. I keep making mistakes and it takes me a lot longer. The wrist injury is aggravated by typing at the wrong angle.
