I'm more worried about longevity and stability. Those are my primary concerns.
I've previously mentioned doing a 2nd thread on like Sunday nights.
You also gotta think about the novelty. You get attention because the content is novel. Once it's consistent, how much more activity are we really going to have? And, at the end of the day, is it worth the hassle if that site's only going to fold in 6 months when they can't afford the hosting bills any longer?
Which is to say, I dunno... I really dunno...
I'm not dreadfully concerned with getting more attention. Then again, I have an audience pretty much any time I really want one. If I want attention, I can get it.
If more attention is the goal, then wouldn't it actually make more sense to move to Reddit? Imagine all the attention we'd get there!
yeah it very well have been the novelty aspect that drove so many to click and listen.
It was not a scientific experiment by any means. There was no control group! LoL
And I know you are worried about the availability
i don't know. I just want more people to participate. But I dont want to do it on reddit
Oh, I don't want to do it on Reddit either. Fuck that noise - and i actually don't hate Reddit. I'm there right now. I just don't want the thread that big.
I'd like greater participation. I'm not sure that's the same as attention. I don't really care how many people listen to my tracks. Last month, my tracks played enough times to consume ~550 MB. So, slightly less than normal. Sadly, my bandwidth stats for that end in February due to a database error.
You need this:

It's a mini filing cabinet for SD cards.
I would love one of those filing cabinets
