I'm already at the point where it's just the venues I want to play.

I'd like to fucking retire completely, but there's still more to teach.

Better get them all on the crash course and force feed them what you are teaching them. Did the band spend a lot of time practicing together during the long time between shows? Were you all tight?

We had a couple of power sessions at my house last week. So, we were tight as fuck, even with the new material. We've played with each other long enough.

Awesome! I figured you all had to have got together and make sure everybody has all their parts down and you all got it tight before you went and played for the public
