Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

There might be some thunderstorms on Tuesday, so we'll have to see. They're usually during the evening, so the morning is likely to be just fine.

A Viper is old and hasn't got things like stability or traction control - at least this one is. It's a 1998 model, I'm pretty sure. (I'd have to look.) They're very tail-happy and love to throw you sideways when you fuck up. They're not very forgiving cars to drive. They're brutal and driving them near the edge will result in the car showing you some fangs. It can and will bite you.

better not drive it on the edge

LOL I'll get close to it. That's a part of the thrill. I'm also a much, much better driver than I used to be. I was pretty good before, even properly trained by the USMC to operate light and medium weight vehicles. But, performance cars are much different - especially if you want to actually perform in them.

Most folks just own and drive this sort of stuff. Not me... I'll sling it sideways and drift corners. I have a giant circuit that I've memorized, in fact I have several, where I know each and every corner.

I like to time myself to see how long it takes to complete a 'lap'.

It does help a whole lot to know the course, that is for sure.
