These don't appear very difficult to change at all
No, brakes are generally pretty easy. Drum brakes can be a fucking cocksucker of a job, however. And, some have some pretty weird bleeding requirements. But, as they're just doing pads, they shouldn't need to bleed the brakes - unless they seriously mess up the project.
The pads are at half life it appears, so there's no bleeding to be required it appears
Nah, you really only need to bleed 'em if you disconnect them. So long as you don't do that, you're good to go. Hell, you can even replace the rotors without needing to bleed 'em. They make special hangers just to hold up the calipers but most people use a bungee cord or a coat hanger or something. So long as you don't disconnect the calipers, you're good to go. Or the piston thingy if you're doing drum brakes. Man, drum brakes suck. They're still using them in some applications.
