That's awesome that the GT2 is awesome and well balanced and you can throw it sideways with ease.
I looked up a BMW 5607 Roadster and it is a gorgeous car. I also saw that one sold at auction for 5 Million dollars.
They're worth 1.8 to 2.5 mil for a 1957, so I doubt I'll ever own one. Still, they're sexy as fuck and I'd love to own one - but not at that price.
I don't know if you have to be a customer, but Hagerty has great pricing history and a valuation tool.
And, I quite like the GT2. I'll take it out again tomorrow morning.
Yeah, the rarity and age of those 507's really have them priced very high.
I would think you would want to take most the cars out for more than one day. The first day you're just getting to know her. The next day you drive her you should know all her little idiosyncrasies and knowing her better should allow you to drive her better
I take the cars out for a week at a time. I pick a new one each week and drive it every morning - or pretty much every morning. I usually put 3 to 4 hours on the car each day for a week and appreciate it in depth that way. I find doing it this way gives me time to get to know the car and to appreciate it for what it is.
That said, the ladies want to go swimming. It's like 80° here. I should put on shorts and get wet myself. I doubt we'll be gone for all that long.
