He is a good drummer. None of the things we played last night had ever been played together and he really likes to add the fills which if we could get the songs to where he knows when I change it would sound great. It's just too bad he's a drug addict

I haven't heard nearly enough to determine if they're any good. It takes hours, or more, to determine that.

I played Rush La Villa Strangiato on the guitar for a while last night and he was trying to drum along, and that song has a whole lot of parts, and after a while he was hollering out how can you expect me to be able to play Neal Peart part on La Villa Strangiato without practicing it!

Give 'em a beat, have 'em play it for 10 minutes, check 'em against a metronome. That sorta stuff.
