I've managed to collect hundreds of stomp boxes along the way.
It really didn't help (I lie, it helped a great deal, that's just a turn of phrase) that I ended up with a bunch of disposable income. When that happened, I went straight retarded. I bought everything I'd even looked at longingly once or twice. I went to guitar auctions and spent stupid money on guitars I don't even play. I own guitars played by famous people - and I pretty much just keep 'em stored.
On top of this, the large part of my collection (from earlier in life) got put to the side and sits in storage today. The guitars, amps, pedals, etc. that I have here aren't anywhere near all of them. I have more sitting in storage, the guitars that I owned before I had a few bucks.
Oh, and yes, driving means that much to me. The cars mean that much to me. I make time to enjoy them pretty much every single day.
If I had a big old pile of money to spend on anything I wanted I am sure I would have a lot more pedals and guitars and other musical equipment as well as more cars!
That's pretty much what happened. I was like a fat kid with a $20 bill in a candy store.
I don't even know how much I've spent on guitars and related items. I haven't got a clue.
You probably don't want to know
