I wonder if the volleyball chicks are crazy.

After all, do sane people devote tens of thousands of hours at a game that's never really gonna pay all that much - if it pays at all?

And, they devote their lives to it. Almost every minute of every day is spent in pursuit of this goal.

That doesn't sound sane.

Any one that devotes that kind of time and commitment to something like that just cause they love to do it have to be just a little off, don't they?

I figure it's probably a bit like guitar and myself. I've put more hours than are sane into it, just so I can say I rank near the top - and so that I can back up those words. It's not sane, not even a little. I'm driven to play my best. I invested ungodly numbers of hours into it.

That's not even a little sane. Not even a little.

I'd compete in a 'Guitar Olympics'.
