Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it.

It gives me enough leeway to spin on takeoff, fairly substantially with traction control on. Maybe 10' of rubber? Probably less - I didn't measure. But, it's enough to chuck it sideways in the corners and actually hold it for a bit.

I may very well have not quite figured the traction control system out, but that's what it did today.

It's not easy jumping from exotic to exotic. The controls are never the same between them. Hell, they're not even always the same when it's the same damned brand.

I can imagine it takes a couple of days to get used to driving some of those exotic cars

I try to drive two to three hours a day, to appreciate all of them. But, I'm usually not completely comfortable until Wednesday or even later in the week. By Friday is when I figure I've got each of 'em dialed in and can really push them - if they're the kinda car that gets pushed. By Friday, I'm wearing it like a skin, I'm bonded with the car and we are one.

I don't always get the time to drive two or three hours, but I try to make time to do so.

I bought the fucking collection. The least I can do is appreciate it. (And i do. I absolutely appreciate the privilege of owning these cars. I get experiences that people dream about having - pretty much every day.)

I know when I first got the XJS I had it took me at least a week to be comfortable with it. It was so much different than anything else I had ever owned
