Guess where Verle is right now? Fuck that, I'll tell you. He is passed out drunk on my front porch. He fell into the ditch when he got here and now I have that to deal with again.

They threw him out of the homeless shelter for being too loud. So when he came here all drunk with that story I brought my guitar and amp out on to the front porch and cranked the fucker full blast ands handed him the guitar LoL and said were you this loud, Fucking feedback man, at 3:30 AM full blast, and nobody complained LoL

I had to take the guitar from him and play it fucking blasting loud in the wee hours. Man there is something so super sweet about being able to sit on my front porch with a guitar and an amp at 3 or 4 AM and crank it all the way up and cut through the silence of the night with some music that sounds sweet to my ears. I play my songs for Verle and the music just engulfs me. I don't quite know how to explain, I'm sure you must feel that one stage with everything cranked, at least I hope so.

But to me, and for me, that is just a beautiful thing. I get hypnotized when I get to playing something that I feel and I loose all sense of everything and the only thing that really matters is making sure i het the notes to keep the spell going, cause I love it. I dont know if that's just me, or if other musicians get that feeling too. I hope that you do, or at least I hope I am not the only one. It is euphoric in a way nothing else is

Also, tell Verle I'm proud of him for holding out at the shelter for as long as he did. That had to have been a hellish existence, not entirely unlike jail, for him.

There's something awesome about playing with that much sound. And, it's even more awesome on the stage - where there's also far more dB than I tend to practice with. I don't have any neighbors to piss off - but I could make it loud enough for anyone within miles to hear me.

The good news is that Verle is already on a list for subsidized housing. They should still help him with that.

Also, I'm surprised he managed to stay there as long as he did.
