I would think that none of the guys you were selling to wouldn't turn you in cause if they did they would not be able to enjoy the cold beers out in the field. And I doubt that anyone is going to search your ammo boxes unless they need ammo
Oh, they'd have thought it was my tools or my lunch. It's not jail, we didn't have random searches. They could have, but they never did. They'd sometimes search you during training but that was it.

That's what I thought. The odds of you getting caught were pretty slim. Unless someone turned you in. Isn't there supposed to be honor in the Marine corps?

Nobody would have turned me in. Not a chance. If they did, who'd bring 'em beer? If they did, the people who drink the beer and smoke the cigarettes would deal with them for turning me in. I'd have had to be caught in the act - and had the higher ranking person decide to not turn their head and walk away.
Did you get hail?
He's probably "okay" and just recovering. He had an appointment today or yesterday.
