Yeah, it's an outdoor venue but they have their own stage. It's a small venue, with maybe 200 people. They aren't paying a whole lot, just barely the band minimum (for this setup), but it's a chance to play and it makes money. Band's gotta get paid, every single week, even if they're not performing. To do that, it means grinding.

The volleyball is fucking awesome.

France is dominating.

Yeah, the venue paid like 3 grand and 50% of the door. The band sends just the musicians, no crew.

And, volleyball is pretty fucking sweet as a spectator sport - and to play. I've played a lot of it. I am nowhere near as good as these fuckers are.
