Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it.

heck yeah! The price of a good mechanic is outrageous!

Imagine the hourly cost if I brought a Porsche to a qualified specialist. If it's $80 to $120 per hour, it's a good deal. I pay a lot less than that and I have things like a pair of McLaren. Those would be twice as much per hour for a specialist. I have to automotive engineers at like 1/8 that cost.

Yeah, dealers charge like $250 an hour labor around here

Yeah, paying what I pay is actually a bargain. On top of that, they do all the mechanical work for the farm. That frees up hours from people who are more adept at farming than they are at being mechanics. They're actual engineers. They could, given enough time and resources, design and build a car from the ground up.

I scooped 'em up right out of college. They never even entered the job market for anyone else.

And they're HAPPY about this. They're stoked to work for me.

They get 4 hours of their own time each week. They get benefits - including dental. They get 2 weeks vacation. They make $25 an hour (actually $1000 a week). They get 2 weeks of PTO (for sick days). The 4 hours of their own time, includes using my equipment and they're paid for those hours. Et cetera...

They're pretty pleased with their job.
