Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Damned right. AMG ONE owners always let random bar patrons drive it home for them!

All I've gotta do is provide reasonable doubt.

Or just not get caught at speeds in the triple digits... I tend to do that where I never see cops, but sometimes I have poor restraint.

I usually try to keep it no faster than 29 mph over the posted speed limit. At 30 mph over the posted speed limit, it becomes 'criminal speed'.

But, when you're in the twisty roads and the speed limit is 45 mph, 74 mph around those corners is pretty tricky.

They do not have criminal speed laws here. One of my girlfriends some years back got pulled over in her Firebird doing 120 in a 55. Just a regular old speeding ticket, well it cost her more than one for 10 over but thats all they did additionally. I have heard many states charge you for a felony at a certain point

Criminal Speed is 30+ over the posted speed limit and I want to say it's a Class E misdemeanor. You'll never get serious time for it by itself. You'll just pay a large fine and maybe get some community service. But, if it's in conjunction with something like a drunk driving charge, an attempt to elude charge, or shit like that - that's when they'll nail you with it.

It's called 'criminal speed' (even though it's not a felony) because it's a criminal offense - meaning they can send yo to jail for it. Civil offenses don't carry a custodial sentence.

The text on this page is woefully wrong, but some of the details are correct:

No, no the DA doesn't normally charge you with it and no they don't normally want 48 hours in jail for it - at least not by itself. Like I said, if it's in conjunction with other offenses is when they'll nail you with it.
