Yeah, I stand out like a sore thumb. The closest I might come is driving a Mustang or some of my older stuff. There are a number of Mustangs nearby. though none of them are really all that special. I haven't seen another C8 Corvette around here yet.

The cops aren't dumb. They know exactly who I am. So, even if I outrun them, they're just gonna be patient and drive straight to my house. I dunno if they'll arrest me, but I might be able to beat the case - as long as they don't have me on video anywhere and the cops can't say that they specifically saw me driving the car. I could always try the, "I refuse to admit who was driving the car." I've actually done that before and managed to get away with shit.

I've also said, "The driver ran off into the woods before you got here. I don't know his name, I picked him up at the bar and had him drive because I was too drunk to drive."

Damned right. AMG ONE owners always let random bar patrons drive it home for them!

Or just not get caught at speeds in the triple digits... I tend to do that where I never see cops, but sometimes I have poor restraint.

I usually try to keep it no faster than 29 mph over the posted speed limit. At 30 mph over the posted speed limit, it becomes 'criminal speed'.

But, when you're in the twisty roads and the speed limit is 45 mph, 74 mph around those corners is pretty tricky.

They do not have criminal speed laws here. One of my girlfriends some years back got pulled over in her Firebird doing 120 in a 55. Just a regular old speeding ticket, well it cost her more than one for 10 over but thats all they did additionally. I have heard many states charge you for a felony at a certain point
