Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Given your geographical location, you probably won't have to worry too much about gators hurting you. Then again, even people living in gator territory don't have to worry too much about gators hurting them. We're really not on their list of favorite foods.

I like 'em. They're pretty much unchanged since before the dinosaurs. They're positively prehistoric. They've managed to survive the most amazing events, which is a feat by itself. Well, their species has. There have been some changes, some speciation, but they're still kicking. Unless we cause them to go extinct, they might outlive homo sapiens.

I think the most prehistoric creature that we have around here of any significance are the sturgeon

Yeah, those are pretty awesome creatures. I suspect pike are pretty old, as well.

They might be, but I don't hear people referring to them as prehistoric fish the way they do sturgeon
