It's an easy job. I could do it in half a day. It's a 0.5 L engine that's really simple to work on.
The car it's in is also very light. The engine is in the rear and I can pick up the back of the car by the bumper.
Anyhow, the Mustang I'll be driving is actually more rare than the AMG ONE, so there's that. Also, I forgot to tell you that the dealership called and said they'd deal with it - but they have no idea how long it'll take. I can understand. Shit happens and this likely happened during shipping. It's not like they have spare ONE bodies at the dealership, so it may have to go back to Germany.
That's shitty, aren't those monocoque construction?
Yup. And carbon fiber. It's a scratch deep enough to catch my fingernail, and actually deeper than that.
I wasn't gonna take delivery of that. The delivery guy seemed a bit annoyed but he understood why I'd not take delivery.
I'm not paying that much for a car with a scratch like that. If there's gonna be a scratch in it, it's gonna be from me and my driving.
Yeah for the amount you pay for that car it had better be absolutely perfect!
