He was the first pro guitarist I saw. Shreveport, 1975. Beast for sure. Awesome vocals, awesome fretwork. I went home and practiced.

One his deepest tunes for ME is Tell Me from Electra Glide in Blue. His voice in that is just pure emotion. The lyrics bittersweet and of course visually it was just the PERFECT ending to the movie
