If it's like most years, I'll have my deer tagged and be home before noon.
It's really not hunting so much as it is harvesting. I kinda like it that way. It's so much easier than trudging through the forest and hoping I see game. I basically just go sit and hide in the bushes - the same exact damned spot I sit every time.
Hey if it works it works!!
LOL Amusingly, the shirts went for printing today - within minutes of them emailing me to tell me that they were printing them.
I had a giant email exchange with the printers that went on for days. I told 'em that I didn't want my money back, I wanted them to admit they made a mistake, a stupid mistake, and then to work to make their company better by increasing quality assurance.
They kept trying to blame those hash-marks on me. So, I sent them the original file and asked how, exactly, I'd added the hash marks. This was after several employees already trying to place the blame on me.
No...
No, you don't fucking blame me when it's not my fault. That's what pissed me off.
I can understand a company fucking up. I've owned more business assets than most and I know human error happens. I can accept that. I'm really REALLY fucking polite about it.
But, they kept trying to blame me for it.
No... Just no...
LOL I wonder if they'll express ship 'em to me. Once I told 'em they'd lost all future business from the band, they changed their minds and accepted the blame, more or less.
Everybody makes mistakes sometimes. Just own up to it and fix it and move on. It's really not that hard.
