Yeah, that's one thing I don't have here at home that would be real nice to have. The town said I couldn't have one when I asked for a permit to build one a few years ago

It's not so much that I have more property - it's that I'm not in a town. I'm not in a municipal region, there's no local government. With no local government, there's no zoning board. I don't need to get a building permit. There's nobody to ask about getting a building permit, even if I wanted to get a building permit.
It's not how much property I own, it's where the property is located that matters.
I do own property where I'd need a permit to build, but not on this property.
Two things:
They won't run electricity unless the wiring is up to code. Septic must be dealt with in a way that conforms to the law - but there's no regulations about how I make it conform.
