That's something most folks don't get to do. Sure, they might have a guide around a museum or a national park, but there are so many other types of guides. I've used a guide to a bunch of countries. Kinda have to. 'Snot like I speak anything else but Spanish. I've employed a number of guides, including many hours with a Registered Maine Guide.

Damned right. 'Snot like I knew all that shit by myself. So, guides are pretty awesome.

I'm still conducting research, by the way. I have eaten an entire lollipop.

Oh, they're awesome. A Registered Maine Guide knows everything from hunting and fishing, to which bar to go to back in civilization. They can take you to the top of the mountains in any weather, right a canoe in turbulent water, track game, trap game, live off the land entirely, etc...

There aren't many of them. It's a pretty hard certification to get.
