Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Cool. Never heard of that

I don't see why you would have heard of 'em - except I've probably mentioned them before. You'd only know about them if you were in Maine, or needing the services of a guide in Maine. I could guide you, but I can't call myself a 'Maine Guide'. I haven't passed the test. (The test is brutal. They may even decide to close the books and force you out into the woods to demonstrate.)

I've never hired a guide for anything, but then again, I've never been to a foreign country

I suspect that most Maine guide clients are Americans, looking to have a successful hunting, fishing, and/or hiking trip.

I could ask my guide buddy. He's my friend, but I still pay him when he guides me. Well, no... I haven't paid him for guide work in years, but he taught me a great deal of the skills I have.
