LOL I expect at least an edited photo sometime.
Hmm... I just looked and the previous greenhouses were 30k each and one is about the size he's after. That's just for the greenhouse - not for land prep, which means gravel and shit. We have all that readily available, though we'll pay contractor prices for the gravel/crushed rock. They have everything needed at the farm to do it, including a dump truck to pick up the stone.
On top of that, all the equipment is running pretty damned good now that we have mechanics that are actual professionals.
I'm telling you... Employing the mechanics has been brilliant.
It's awesome to hear that the mechanics have worked out and they have all your equipment running smoothly! That's definitely worth the price of admission!
They've got like maint. schedules for everything now. It's all scheduled for x-piece of gear to have x done to maintain it or whatever.
One of the reasons I hired them was that they know how to do all that stuff, including finding and setting schedules and shit like that.
This summer, I'm going to try to get Biff's younger brother to shadow them for the summer.
Do you know how many times I've busted a knuckle working on something since I hired them?
Zero... I have zero busted knuckles.
Nice. Very nice
