Yup...

I am gonna miss home.

I had BBQ chicken for dinner. The BBQ part of the equation was magnificent. The chicken part of it was bland - meaning the chicken was bland tasting. I'm usually eating chicken that came from just across the road. It's delicious, and not some plain chicken breast grown by a monstrosity of a chicken in some factory farm.

So, I'm gonna miss parts of being home.

We made good time. We had a strong tailwind for much of the way. We touched down at 10:25 and were in our room and unpacked (as much as we're unpacking today) before noon.

Man, it stays light here longer. It's really pronounced when you first get here from there.
