Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Right on, what is your favorite genre to play?

It depends, but I love the complexity of classical guitar and flamenco. There's just very little room at the top for those genres, so I've pretty much played rock, top 20 hits, and even some country. I've been in blues bands, I've done improv jazz for the lunch "hour" at a jazz club. I've done unknown numbers of hours doing studio work, where I play what the customer asks for.

It has been a hell of a career, even when I had a real job.

That sounds rad, much respect dude!

Do you have any advice for someone who is trying to build dexterity in their pinky and ring finger?

Yes... Use them. Much of guitar expertise is muscle memory.

I don't usually recommend videos. I do recommend this one:
