Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Yeah, employing people is where you make money off of their labor. That will get you way more than only making money off of your own labor

I'm 'retired' but I still employ all sorts of people - both directly and indirectly. I like employing people. Not only does it mean they're saving me time and money, it means I'm giving back to the community in a responsible fashion.

How much of the archives did you get done?

If something happens, don't let it get way behind before saying something. Please do like COF did and admit it when/if you can't keep doing it.

Also, it's Friday. One of us has to open the thread tonight. If you've done the archives, I'll step up and take care of tonight's thread.

I did one of them and sent a link to COF for approval. I was going to do the rest if he said it was good enough

That's a good idea. It'd probably have been smarter to start this transition a month ago, but I kinda wanted to let COF do it until he just didn't feel he could keep up. It's a Friday, so he'll likely struggle and get himself online for a little while.

Shit sucks... I've spoken with COF nearly every day for 4ish years. I'm gonna miss 'em.

I don't have anything new, by the way. I can still open the thread if needed.

He used to keep track of comment numbers and stuff like that. I'm not sure that we need to keep track of that. It's nice to have, but the threads have slowed down. The comment numbers were like 2 days after the thread opened, something like that. So, yeah, checking with him is definitely the best solution. Hopefully he's able to respond in a timely manner.
