Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

That sucks. Are all the good ones busy?

Even the bad ones are busy!

I should have had it done last year, but there was already some construction on my property.

I have made motions towards it. My builder (the one I prefer) is going to be on-site anyhow, so keeping them here another month isn't bad. I have them researching designs and they'll do so scientifically - so that the building is optimized for sound within budget constraints. I'd like the entire building to cost less than 30k, with wiring/HVAC at the same time.

That's not too bad at all

The big costs are gonna be in equipping the studio. I'll hire a consultant to go through it all with us.

It's just gonna get dumped on a pad. I'm planning on putting a 'public' bathroom in it. A couple of stalls, a urinal, and a couple of sinks... It doesn't need a basement or anything. I can get all the lumber at less than wholesale, including things like oak and maple. So, 30k should be enough. I'm leaning towards three booths, two small and one large, with a central recording/mixing room - with windows facing into all three studios.
